"Quantum boards" refer to PCB panels, of Samsung LM561C diodes, which is an SMD 5630 size chip. It's what HLG, the company that first made it available commercially, called it, and it's a pretty cool name, so it stuck.
Samsung offers a calculator, for determining the efficiency of a hypothetical 'quantum board' (i.e. any X-Y grid of LEDs) using their chip.
We chose the highest bin diodes, S6, and arranged a modular 60W lattice of 96 LEDs. At full brightness of about 150mA, well under the 200mA maximum, the board achieves 184 lm/W. If you run it at 1/3 of the full brightness, its efficiency increases to above 200 lm/W!
